Every time I click on a pdf while browsing on FF for android, nothing happens. If I do the same on chrome, either the PDF opens on a new tab or it opens in adobe reader or google docs. Can somebody give me some advice on the topic?

There is no embedded pdf viewer for Android. You will need to download the pdf and open it using a pdf viewer such as Adobe Reader
