can't move profile from usb to thunderbird in Win 8. Just says path doesnot exist

Hi I have copied my profile from my old computer to a flash drive. When I go to move the folder in Win 8 i specify the path C:\users\Patrick\AppData\Thunderbird\Profiles but Win says no such path. I can see it when i navigate to it but win doesn't see it when I try to move the file
