MS Outlook has a message preview pane allowing you to view the first line of a message in the Inbox without opening it. It doesn't appear Thunderbird has this. Is there any add-on that adds this capability?

The message preview can be turned on/off with F8; the separator line can be dragged up and down to change the size.
