I'm just looking for help in using the FireFTP plugin on my Mac. But I can't find a mailto: link or contact form anywhere on the FireFTP website. This is really bad form for a web page.  :-(

Lots of talk on the site's support page when you have a 2 button mouse. Supposedly a control-click will simulate a right click, but I get nothing under 10.6.6 Snow Leopard.

Maybe I should just delete this plugin and go find a dedicated FTP program.

Right now, I'm totally unimpressed and disappointed in the plugin.

Open to all suggestions and ideas.

Been there, done that. It doesn't work.

Hover over the address, and it's a link to another webpage, not a mailto: link.

Click on it, and you go to http://fireftp.mozdev.org/about_mozilla.xhtml which is a red page with this quote:

"And, lo, from the darkness they emerged: a host of the faithful to aide the reborn beast in its quest to reclaim the land. Together they extended the power of the beast and spread the good news of its return. One by one the followers of Mammon were converted and their hearts were set aflame.

from The Book of Mozilla, 8:2"

Any other thoughts?

Copy and paste that email address into your email program?

You can also look at FileZilla: http://filezilla-project.org/

Yea, this will work.  :-) But the whole developer page is full of similar links. I don't know why they did it, but it really irritates me to hide links links like this.

Then, on the support page, I found two more things that have to be installed on a Mac to make it work. I just don't want to deal with that, so I simply deleted the add-on.

I just downloaded and installed FileZilla, but haven't configured it as of yet. Perhaps tomorrow.

At least, a simple one step process versus the FireFTP add-on.
