Don't know if I can add much more. For some reason this has just happened. I can past the whole information from the affected site. (there were also others)

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
- "Clear the Cache": Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
- "Remove the Cookies" from sites causing problems: Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
I've done that.
When I refresh the page I have to log-in again (because I deleted the login cookie), after doing so I get the error again. :(
I also get this message when I try to go to web sites I have always been able to connect to. Have cleared and deleted my cookies several times but still have the problem. How do I get back to the previous version of Firefox I didn't have a problem with it???
If clearing the cookies doesn't help then it is possible that the file cookies.sqlite that stores the cookies is corrupted.
Rename (or delete) cookies.sqlite (cookies.sqlite.old) and delete cookies.sqlite-journal and cookies.txt, if they exist, in the Profile Folder in case the file cookies.sqlite got corrupted.
Hallo der Fehler ist bei uns nach dem Update auf Version 5.0 aufgetretten. Ich habe dann die Einstellungen gerändert die festlegen, wie sich Firefox mit dem Internet verbindet.
Extras / Einstellungen / Erweitert / Netzwerk: Einstellungen
=> "Die Proxy-Einstellungen für diese Netzwerk automatisch erkennen" aktivieren.
Gang,
I have this problem and here's updated info. I tried all of the above on cookies etc. and no joy. Interestingly, I have exactly the same problem at exactly the same time with my Netscape browser. IE and Chrome work fine. Uninstalled both Firefox and Netscape and reinstalled, same problem.
