Since reinstalling Thunderbird I can't open up my mail.
Since upgrading to Windows 10 when I tried to send messages I got an error message saying it couldn't be sent and there was a problem with Avast. I unstalled the program and re-installed it. Since doing that - my email accounts no longer show on the left - I can't open up the one default account to look at those messages. I tried changing the default account and even then the messages wouldn't open. As this is my main mail account - I need this program back and need it to work. As a minor note - my calendar also disappeared.

have you disabled or removed avast? Sounds like it is the root issue here.
How do you disable Avast? The Avast is a paid subscription. I tried asking them for help and they wanted to charge me $180.00 for a one-time help.
