Firefox is not loading sites. The load symbol keeps spinning but nothing happens. No problem with Safari
Since a day Firefox cannot load websites. It takes about 5 minutes to load a site. But I do not have the patience so I use Safari, which works ok. but I do prefer to use Firefox

- Try this.
- Type in the address bar about:config.
- Accept the warning.
- In the page that appears, in the Filter box, type network.http.max-connections.
- Change the value to 32 (which is probably set to 256 in your case).
- Close the about:config page.
- Restart the browser.

You can also try to reset (power off/on) the router.

Thanks for the help and ideas! I tried typing in the address bar about: config. No warning appeared; the browser could not recognize the info. I did find an explanation on google about 'about:config"..tough, so I will read tis more thoroughly & retry it later today. Than just now restarted the router.. this is not helping. Will let you know alter
about:config
No space in between : and config. Or just copy and paste the above.
Yes, now it is working: copied it, got the warnign, came in a list, altered the settings to 32. And works fine again.
