Sometimes emails are garbage in the message pane
Sometimes, one or two of my emails do not display properly in the Message Pane. Here is a small sample showing part of one message. Is there a way to fix this? I am using TBird 102.15.1 (64-bit).

right click the folder, select properties and then the repair button.
Then create an exception in your antivirus programs for the Thunderbird profile folder to prevent it happening often.
Thanks Matt, I'll try that later, the power is off for a few more hours, a system outage. Someone probably crashed into a pole and took out a tranny. It is about 30 degrees here. But we have two nat-gas fireplaces so we won't freeze.
All done, now time will tell. It only happened now and again but I had to open the web version to read the e-mail. Thanks Matt.
I say fix the antivirus, because historically that is a primary cause of such issues. There have been a couple of recent bugs however where Thunderbird has managed this all on it's own. Updating to new versions at the moment is more important than ever as releases fixing issues of this corruption are included in 128.6 and I am guessing there will be further fixes forthcoming. They rarely get it right in the first release, there are always outliers that the first fix does not address. that are not known until someone says the fix did not fix it for them.
