Desktop mode as default option disappears after one day in 133

I was literally overjoyed when I discovered the use desktop view as default setting under the site permissions settings in 133.0 when I installed it on my Android phone (not tablet). I enabled it, and it worked exactly as expected—fantastic!

Unfortunately, the next day it was gone again, and the browser's behavior is as if I never enabled this setting. Please, where did it go, and how do I get it back? Failing that, is there a configuration variable that can be set manually to achieve the same behavior?

Hi, we only know that the Desktop browsing mode preference released in 133.0 has been temporarily removed and will be enabled in a later release.

Hi again. We've just released version 138, where desktop mode is enabled by default on some devices, could you try to turn it on in Site Settings?
