Hi all

I would like for Firefox to use my Windows Schannel settings if possible. I have setup Schannel to Disable TLS 1.0 and disabled all insecure cipher suites. I know some TLS settings can be changed via about:config, but this doesn't scale very well.

Thanks in advance.

There are TLS settings prefs on the about:config page that specify the minimum and maximum TLS version.

  • security.tls.version.min = 1
  • security.tls.version.max = 3
  • 1 means TLS 1.0; 2 means TLS 1.1; 3 means TLS 1.2; 4 means TLS 1.3;

There are also pref that select whether a specific cipher suite is enabled or disabled.

Keep in mind that you may not be able to connect to a server if you modify TLS or SSL prefs.
