Firefox wanted to up date and I clicked okay. All my information still to be as it was but it didn't download when the computer came back up. How do I get everything back?

after 8 hours of youtube.com videos of the chosen video stopped 30 minutes before end how do I prevent broadcast from stopping in middle of video; is there a memory issue or function command to extend broadcast or notification when near limit

Updated Firefox to 154. When I select Firefox, I get a notice that Firefox is already running. If I cancel, Firefox comes up but I quickly get a notice that Firefox is not responding. I tried refresh but that didn't fix it. If you don't have an answer, I'll de-install and then (maybe) reinstall. -JJM

Where is a link, icon, or ANY WAY to add a shortcut site to my Ubuntu FF **DESKTOP** homescreen?

I already have 4 rows (since 2013 over many Linux laptops. Ubuntu, Mint, popOS, and now Ubuntu 26.04 LTS).

There is room in the fourth row for a few more. BUT I don't see any icon or link or right-click option to add another!

Phrasing the article search various ways gets me a lot of unrelated stuff.

EVERY help article, of which there are few, seems to have a BIG-ASSumption that everyone is using mobile Firefox.

NO! NO three dots. No right click brings up anything. NOTHING in settings. I've been through everything in the 3-bar menu, and there is NOTHING. (I already use it to sync, go to OTHER settings, go to help, etc.)

This is a day after an update, though I don't know how that affects it.

Usually if I forget how I did something, I just explore and find it. BUT --

My way of adding new shortcuts seems to be GONE.

Firefox uses firefox icon instead of website icon. Can change it thru properties/change icon but every time i make a shortcut i have to change it if i want the right one.

i have said many times that i keep getting Firefox running but not responding . i have contacted many places and complained had some of your r tech try and help now with the new update i am still getting it yet i was told it would be fixed. i have reinstalled i have removed and shut off some add ons cleared cache all but cookies and still i get it funny until the last 2 new versions i never had this problem it is a Firefox problem not mine. i would have thought you would have fixed it by now

Several months ago I was able to access my Facebook account on Firefox, my default web browser. But a few weeks ago I was not able to do so. However, I can access my account on Microsoft Edge, which is not my default browser. Why can't I now use Firefox to access Facebook? Thanks so much for your help.

Hi all. I can tell from a quick google search that this question has been asked MANY times, but I can't find step-by-step instructions for noobs like me who are new to the advanced features utilized to fix this issue. Please, if you wouldn't mind... Can someone provide step-by-step instructions to help me resolve this? I'm running version 154.0.1. I don't want to delete the bookmarks themselves; just that list (permanently). I appreciate your help!

I use Proton Pass and sometimes it pops up and sometimes not. Extension is installed. But Firefox pops up to manage password while it is not activated. See image. What can I do to have reliable Proton Pass. Thanks

I have installed various extensions, and pinned same to toolbar. To activate these, I simply click the icon.

However, there are several addons I've installed which are not pinned to the toolbar. These I cannot seem to start.

How to proceed ?

Question 1: When I click on a link for email in Firefox, it automatically opens Outlook. I rarely use Outlook (my former professional email) and would like the default email to be Gmail. How can I change that?

Question 2: The email for my account is my old professional email, which I rarely use, having retired 14 years ago. I do have access to it, but it's a long story. The box for secondary email says "None". So I have tried to add my personal email, which I use for almost everything now. When I enter it, I get a message saying "Account already exists." I assume that is related to my phone and tablet, both of which use Firefox. I would like them all to use the personal email. Can I change that? What happens if I delete this account and create a new one on this machine?

Looking at the Task Manager in Windows, Firefox is using 2700-3000 MB of Memory when running. I only have 13 tabs at the time of writing this but it is driving my memory up to 50%. (I have 32GB RAM). Is this normal? When I open the Firefox manager, the GPU seems to take like 1-2 GB and i think it is driving up the Memory. I also have UBlock Origin, Privacy Badger and a third extension called Copy Plain Text. This is just concerning me and would like to know if I'm overreacting.
