Proxy settings remains on manual, no matter how many times I change it. When I open a new Firefox window it says unable to connect to proxy. I do not use a proxy and have to disable the proxy settings each time I start Firefox.
I do not use a proxy server for my internet connection. Each time I open a new Firefox window it says "unable to connect to proxy server." At this point I go into options and change my connection settings to "no proxy." It works for that session but if closed I have to change the settings again. Start Firefox in Use Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
