Firefox re-install. Did I really lose everything?

Firefox was misbehaving. I didn't see an obvious link to reinstall, so I went to the Mozilla site and initiated the install. There was an error message indicating that it did not complete. It now seems that I have lost all my settings/bookmarks/history etc. Please help.

Hi Zakk,

Maybe it just created a new profile for you, check the %LOCALAPPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles folder (by the way %LOCALAPPDATA% is C:\Users\your.username\AppData\Local) in Explorer, if there are multiple, one of them could be your old profile. In this case, you can follow this guide to change profiles: Profile Manager - Create, remove or switch Firefox profiles.
