Hello, I’m using the new Firefox profile management. Is there any way to keep the open profiles separated on the Windows taskbar? Right now, they’re grouped together, but I’d like to have two separate icons, like in Chrome.

Hello raul.mariano

When using Firefox profile management (e.g., multiple profiles via `about:profiles`), each profile runs as a separate instance of the Firefox executable (firefox.exe). However, Windows groups similar tasks (like multiple Firefox windows) under a single taskbar icon by default. This is why your profiles appear grouped, even though they are separate.

Disable taskbar grouping for firefox

  - right-click the taskbar and select taskbar settings.
  - Scroll down to Group similar tasks and toggle it off (set to "Never").
  - This will show each Firefox instance as a separate icon on the taskbar, even if they belong to different profiles.

Tenha um bom dia.
