Firefox & Thunderbird stop working and you have to wait for them to wakeup

I use both Firefox and Thunderbird. I am using WIN 10 with Norton. I've tried the troubleshooter and refresh for Firefox. It had no affect and since it did not work on FIrefox I decided not to try it on Thunderbird.

Norton been known to be a system hog and waste valuable system resources to startup programs. I never had lag load issue with just opening and running Firefox using Windows 10 Defender A/V software.
