The folder Inbox is full i deleted many files and folders but still get the same message??? any solution

The folder Inbox is full, and can't hold any more messages. To make room for more messages, delete any old or unwanted mail and compact the folder. this is the message that I get when I try push the send messages .... I have deleted many files and folders and still get this message .... any solution???

Did you delete and COMPACT like the message says? If not you need to compact the folder. Read what compacting does in Thunderbird terms here. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/compacting-folders
