How can I reset Firefox without losing plug ins,add-ons etc?
Firefox is slow to start. I have reset it but then have to redo plug ins,etc. Can I avoid this?

you can set up a sync account and choose to sync addons.
Wait some time (an hr or so? Not entirely sure), so all the information is synced to the server.
Then refresh firefox, and sign back into the synced account. This will bring back all the bookmarks, histories, passwords, and addons.
