Wake from screensaver when receive an email
My fire dept has a pc that runs i am responding. We have a tv in our bay that displays what firefighters are responding to a call. The pc is in the office and is unreachable quickly from the bay. I wanted to see if there was a way either with firefox or maybe thunderbird to have the website send the pc an email and when it does get one for our call it wakes up the screen. I dont know if this is even possible. Can someone help us out?

I don't know what is or isn't possible with your program. I would suggest your best option is to just turn the screensaver off if this is a mission critical computer. You can try contact your software provider (the company that makes your response software) and see if they have a good technique.
