Firefox updated now immediately crashes on startup
After an update minutes ago, Firefox immediately crashes on startup and crash reporter launches Rebooted computer. Launched firefox from command line with -safe-mode and -purgecaches
This is when the online help says to submit a report with the most recent bp-numbers. Thanks in advance for your assistance.

I'm not getting an answer. It is probably because there isn't enough information in the bp- captures, or the information doesn't make sense. Thanks to those who looked.
The solution was very easy. Uninstall and reinstall. The profiles (bookmarks, passwords, some of the changes made to the layout) are not in the program directory, but are in user directories. The profiles are not affected by uninstalling the program. You may need to reinstall some of your browser extensions in the only repercussion.
I'm surprised this solution isn't one of the first things to try with startup problems. It can be found in the help pages, but I needed to dig to find it.
In any case, this problem was solved. I will close it if I can figure out how.
