I've dowloaded and installed ubuntu 24 LTS. The OS is working and so Thunderbird. But Links in emails in Thunderbird 128.9.0esr (64 bit) do not open automatically pages in Firefox 137.0 (64bit). I've checked and Firefox is set as default browser. The configuration Ubuntu-Firefox-Thunderbird is "brand new" (no manipulations) Same problem on the Netbook of my wife (also "brand new").

Stai usando le versione SNAP immagino. Se è così è un problema della tua distribuzione. Prova ad usare le versione di Mozilla di Thunderbird e Firefox.
