Media stops playing in New Android browser

I really want to like the updated browser on Android. However, if you load BBC Sounds, e.g. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/live:bbc_world_service, the media plays only for a while and then stops. This seems to happen a little while after the screen has turned off. Because of this, I now need to listen to this type of content in another browser.

This is not possible to change at present, but may be included in a future update to Firefox for Android.

OK, but in the previous version of Firefox the media just kept playing. It seems quite to have lost that functionality.
