newsgroup binary images won't display
Hi, I'm using thunderbird withtails os. I am able to connect to a news server, download groups and download headers. When I click on a message, let's say a jpg file, thunderbird appears to not recognise this is an image and displays random text. When a message has an image as an attachment, it will display it by opening a separate picture viewing app. Thanks for any help,

Thunderbird version is 68.6.0 (64bit)
usually caused by an unknown image format being used, or the image being spread over a number of NNTP posts. Thunderbird does not reassemble the image in that situation
