Hi LarryDaymon, Is this about web-mail or Thunderbird?
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
- switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Themes
- do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window

Just in case you are using Gmail :
This has been an issue that re-occurs from time to time and their support says :
"Use the Gmail BASIC HTML version https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/h/1p7bjmn9vg2de/?zy=e&f=1 as the users have reported it working for them."
