how do i change sync to manually instead of automatically(after certain time), i mean just when i press the sync button ?

Open up about:config (typed in the Location Bar) Right-click and Toggle this preference to false
services.sync.autoconnect - put that in the Search field at the top
Then restart Firefox.
i tried that but its not there.. shall i create one ?? am using the latest firefox 36.0.4
