I actually exported my bookmarks before resetting my password so thankfully i did not lose my bookmarks!!! however i do not have them on my firefox they are on my usb drive is there away to transfer them back to firefox?

Did you create an HTML backup or a JSON backup ?

In the Bookmarks Manager (Library) you can import an HTML backup to merge them with existing bookmarks.

Restoring a JSON backup replaces all current bookmarks, so you need to export to HTML beforehand and restore this backup afterward.

i found out that my most recent bookmarks were not in the export i resetted my password is there anyway to retrieve my bookmarks? i recall my firefox password now!!!

I'm not sure what you did reset. If you did reset the password of the Sync account then data on the Sync server got wiped and is no longer accessible.

If you still use the same Firefox profile then you should have automatically created JSON backups available.

  • Bookmarks -> Show All Bookmarks -> Import & Backup -> Restore

I forgot my Firefox account password and now all my bookmarks except for the ones i exported to my usb drive is gone is there anyway to get them back?
