Drop down menus don't work anymore?

Since some versions NO drop down menu on ANY website is working. The drop stay closed. I have to move with the arrow keys to figure out witch values could be chosen. Example of a broken menu: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/HTML/Element/select

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

I was able to start Firefox in safe mode. No difference.

Start your Computer in safe mode with network support. Then start Firefox. Try Secure websites. Is the problem still there?
