Constant "Address Not Found" for well known major sites: SO Done with Firefox For Android browser app. Even though I've promoted Firefox for years. Also, I strongly dislike not being able to find a HELP CONTACT email address to get a fix for this FREQUENT problem, because I would prefer to avoid taking my persistent (years long) problem with Firefox for Android to the public, or to the Google Play Store Reviews, and I would rather just get a fix for the constant problem, a fix which I am unlikely to get in some Google-like online user community. So much wasted time under Deadlines from authorities. The deadlines, problems, and crises surround me. Exasperated. My old building suite doesn't have the fastest ethernet and wifi. This Firefox For Android problem wastes even more time. Frequently. The SAME site addresses are a piece of cake to visit in any of my cell phone's 3 Google browsers. But I do not believe in Google. Firefox For Android is my preferred default browser. (Usually using DuckDuckGo search engine, inside my Firefox for Android browser.) Help?! 😢

When using the browser on the newest update on the android app, I am unable to interact with pop up menus, such as when I want to change the options of a search, and I can't give websites access to my camera because the allow pop up button doesn't work, the only thing I can do is tap off to the side of the menu to make it go away. The only fix to this I found was installing an older version of Firefox, ver 150.2 specifically.

I used to have a Canon printer and could print from Firefox on Android. I now have an HP and printing silently fails. I can print from Chrome but not Firefox.

If I go to Settings/Connections/More Connection Settings/Printing, it shows the print job still there even a day later.

Is there anything I can do to troubleshoot this?

Maybe some setting in chrome://geckoview/content/config.xhtml?

 I am facing a problem with download and save in mozilla Firefox on my Android mobile.

When I try to download any file (PDF, image, resume) the download starts but it show "download failure" and the file is not getting saved in my phone stories. I have good internet and and enough storage space.

I have tried cleaning Firefox cache and data, but the issue is still the same. please help me to fix this download and save problem

I downloaded several chapters from an online book I was reading prior to an appointment. I put each chapter into Reader View. Then I turned off WiFi access. This was about 2 hours prior to the appointment. I left Firefox on the regular view page I had loaded the chapters from. When I tried to read all the chapters, Reader View immediately tried to download the page and failed and gave me an error about my Internet connection. "Back" didn't work, all the previous downloaded, static pages were gone.

I tested this at home. If you leave Firefox on a Reader View page and turn off WiFi access, the page is left as is. If you leave the page and return to it, the page is lost and needs to be downloaded again.

Is there a setting or something to prevent this ... behavior?

Overtime android seems to balloon in storage size.

I tried deleting history and data inside the app, it lowered slightly then shot back up.

I does not always go up, seems i can go days or weeks wothout a noticeable increase, my guess it is happens whenever android is managing stored memory on apps, i recently restarted and it grew again.

I have tried remote debugging over usb on a mac and could not find anything taking up any amount of data that would account for this.

I dont really know what to do, i would like to avoid uninstalling the app and manually readding pw thing or gaving to save them to firefoxs cloud save. Eventually i will have to as phone storage is getting very low.

I mostly just watch YT on a regular tab, and browse the web in private tabs. I have ublock , no script, video backgroundplay fix as enabled addons, if any of that helps. None of them had a big memory footprint in remote debug.

I am experiencing an issue with Firefox Sync between my PC and Android phone.

Saved passwords (Firefox Logins) sync correctly when I first install Firefox on my Android device, but after that, new passwords added on my PC do not appear on my Android Firefox.

The only way I can get the new passwords to sync is by uninstalling Firefox on Android and reinstalling it. After reinstalling, the passwords appear again, but the issue returns afterward.

Firefox Desktop version: 156.0 (64-bit) Firefox Android version: Firefox 156.0 Android version: Android 15 Device model: Redmi A3

Steps to reproduce:

Add a new saved password on Firefox Desktop. Wait for Sync to complete. Tap "Sync now" on Firefox Android. Check Saved Logins. The new password does not appear.

I have already tried manually syncing and restarting Firefox, but the problem persists.

Could this be a Sync issue with Firefox for Android? Thank you.

I have not added an authentication app, but when I try to log in to my account I keep getting asked to use it. Makes it impossible to log in. How do I log on my account?

Suddenly one day I noticed that all my website passwords for the Android app disappeared. The passwords were strangengly odd themselves because some were very old, others were recent and many were incorrect when I would try to use them and it seemed to be very random and not how they were originally saved. Anyways, they all disappeared one day and I don't know why or how. Apparently I had got signed out of my account for Firefox which I didn't even realize that I was signed into an account through the browser. I don't use just one same browser for the web I tend to use a bunch of different browsers since they all are disappointing. I'm just wondering why they all got deleted and why couldn't I sync the ones from my desktop to my Android. Thanks for the help.

I'm using Firefox for Android version 156.0 (Build #2016183655) on Android 16.

When the setting Enable Tab Groups is set to disabled, why am I still able to drag and drop one tab on top of the other, with the "Create tab group" page shown to me as in the attached picture??? It seems the only difference in setting Enable Tab Groups to disabled is that once I click Save on the Create tab group page I'm brought back to the tab page without the group being created.

While I truly appreciate the option to disable tab groups, the entire reason I want to disable them is because I'm so tired of trying to rearrange my tabs and having the interface think I'm trying to create a group instead of simply rearranging them! This whole tab group idea has created such a mess and it's so much extra work trying to avoid it, and I sincerely believe that disabling the Enable Tab Group setting should completely prevent the Create tab group page from ever appearing at all. Surely the way it's working now can't be how it was intended to work???
