Fx 148.0 Galaxy A14 5G

Unable to view the subfolders in the bookmarks folder when I add or edit bookmarks:

three vertical dot icon > bookmark page > edit > bookmarks > tap on ">" next to "bookmarks" to view the subfolders

This problem started happening after the latest update.

The 148 version hides most of the options previously available from the menu option. Sometimes I can access the options through an option to "show more" Mostly the " show more " is not present. I then lose access to options I use a lot: print to pdf, translate etc etc I have tried both the expanded and simple toolbars. (The expanded reverts to simple every time I quit Firefox anyway).

How can I solve this? Is there a way to go back to the much better older menu version? So much quicker and cleaner.

When I open the app the search is extremely slow and the page takes up to 10 30 seconds to change from a blank to a normal page. I tried changing from Google to bing and to remove the extensions but no improvement

I am not sure if this is a setting / UI issue in Firefox for Android or if it is a UI thing for Android in general.

I am using an Acer tablet with Firefox for Android. Before, I would use the three vertical dots icon to get the menu to display on the right of the screen (for example, when I need to search for text or look through the browser history). Now it is suddenly appearing in the middle of the screen instead and I can't work out how to put it back. I tried dragging it to the side, and double tapping on it, and looking through the settings. I searched online, but all I got was stuff about moving the address bar to the top/bottom or tips on menu design.

Whenever i reopen Firefox on Xiaomi 15T with HyperOS 3 i get a 10 sec black screen on any tab with a previously loaded website. Even with all battery optimization disabled it still does it. No other browser does it. Mi browser, chrome and brave tested and dont do it.

Somehow there's something that keeps popping up my browser every time I plug it into charge or unplug it from charging and I have to delete the tab. Where is the setting on my Android or Firefox for Android that will eliminate pop-ups?

while browsing, it keeps stopping all the time. after entering a site it slow down. crashes the site. but the features are good. I enjoyed the features. please fix the errors on android app.

I am experiencing an issue with Firefox on my Poco X7 Pro (HyperOS). Pages in tabs automatically reload when returning to the app after switching away, even after only ~1 minute. This happens despite all of the following:

- Battery optimization disabled (No restrictions) - Background activity allowed - App Lock enabled in Recent Apps - Tabs → Close inactive tabs = Never - Delete browsing data on quit = Off - Developer options → Background process limit = No limit - RAM Plus active (~12GB available)

In comparison, Chromium-based browsers like Vivaldi maintain tabs for hours on the same device without reload.

• • Device:** Poco X7 Pro
  • OS:** HyperOS (please add exact version / Build number)
  • Firefox version:** (147.0.3, e.g., 125.0.1)
  • RAM:** 12GB RAM plus active

• • Steps to reproduce:**

1. Open Firefox and navigate to any web page. 2. Switch to another app or go to Home. 3. Wait approximately 1 minute. 4. Return to Firefox. 5. Observe that the page reloads and previous state (scroll position, forms, media) is lost.

• • Expected behavior:** Tabs should retain their state unless the system completely kills the Firefox process.

• • Actual behavior:** Pages reload automatically, even when the process is still in memory.

• • Logs / Attachments:**

- adb logcat / bugreport (firefox_reload_log.txt or bugreport.zip) - Optional screen recording demonstrating the issue - Timestamps of occurrence for reference

Could you please advise if there is a recommended configuration for HyperOS/Poco devices, or if a workaround exists to improve tab persistence for Firefox (Gecko engine) under aggressive memory management?

I did get the update to 148 today, and the new toolbar is very uncomfortable to use. I dislike the new look aswell as it is quite ugly. And i hope there is a setting to get the old toolbar back as i find the new toolbar worse in all aspects. For example that it is now at a different position and that the "quick menu" blocks the actual taskbar. Then the quickmenu is far to big to be usable with one finger especially if you don't want to use one of the first layer options. Then it is not anymore possible to fit everything one one screen with the smallest size of text and the least zoom on my phone. The menu is ugly aswell with everything being inconsistent but that new style is anyway bad. So how to get it away? Is there are hidden setting somewhere with that i can change it or did i just look over it? Do I have to use a old version? Would it be possible in the future to add the option to stay on the old design?

Since the last update to version 148.0 on Android, it's no longer possible to send tabs between devices (reliably). When I try to send a tab from my android phone to my laptop, it says that it's unable to send. However, after a while it appears on my laptop anyways after a long delay, but not always. It works in the other direction, but the checkmark that usually appears does not show up, and there's also a time delay, but not as severe as in the other direction.

I am looking for a web browser I can use to manage my company on and I don't know much technology or cyber security and I am anticipating opening my card and collectibles shop within a few months and it took alot to get this far so I don't want to make any decisions that will create any kind of complications with my business. I am looking for one secure browser to use exclusively for my company I already told you it is a card and collectible shop but I will sell online hopefully. So my question is is there anything that I should know about vulnerabilities that could potentially be used to exploit my business

If I'm on a website and let's say I'm reading an article and I'm midway, if I switch to another app momentarily for a few seconds (eg go to a messenger app to send a quick message) most of the time when I get back to Firefox it seems to reload the app and refreshes the page. This makes me lose my scroll position and progress. This doesn't happen on other browsers like Vivaldi,it feels like aggressive memory management. Please fix this if possible because I don't think it's my phone's issue , I have a Xiaomi 14 Ultra with 16gb of ram and Android 16 (latest hyper os 3.0.3)!

I'm signed in to Firefox on mobile because I want to access my desktop bookmarks, history etc on mobile. But whenever I bookmark a page on mobile it automatically saves to whatever folder I last used on desktop. But I don't want them saved to my desktop bookmarks at all. I don't know how to move them to mobile only and how to stop them from saving into my desktop folders.

I want it back on top not like it is in the screenshot, how do I get it back the way it was. why do you keep changing things not everybody wants to change and then you just change it for everyone without even giving the option to not change it it's ridiculous. If I can't move it back I'll be switching browsers.

Android - No YouTube comments. Tried clearing cache Even without signing in with Google account still no comments Tried deleting Firefox and installed it again fresh, no extensions, no change in settings. Still no comments Also the comments appear when watching shorts, only normal videos are affected
