The box Open Previous Windows and Tabs is unclickable. It is faded/not highlighted, and so it is unclickable. HOw do I change it to clickable?

I updated to Firefox 149 (German User) and did not get the Seutp prompt mentioned in https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/built-in-vpn#w_turn-on-vpn-in-firefox I Also tried https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/built-in-vpn#w_how-do-i-turn-off-or-remove-vpn-from-my-toolbar to check the Optiions in the Settings, but there is also the part "VPN" missing. In the Help Section it says that I have installed 149.0 (64-Bit) Windows Version. Is there something missing?

For a few weeks now I have been unable to obtain email addresses from my bt address book when sending emails. If I type an address it often disappears when I press send. This makes it nearly impossible to send to a team list.
BT tell me that the email set-up is working well and it must be a server problem. They suggested clearing the history and cache on FireFox which I have done but no change.
Other servers seem to be ok but I don't really wish to change from Fire Fox which I have used for years and well set up.
Please could anyone advise?
There's no option to "Refresh Firefox."

Windows 11 : Fix this ASAP I delete all tabs, close firefox, reopen and I get 5 tabs which seem to be STUCK. I delete 3 of these tabs, go about my work, none of those 3 are open, and I shut everything down. When I reopen Firefox, those 5 "default tabs" (the 3 I don't want have migrated over from I don't know were - both Chrome and Edge open with New Tab.)
I have enough other problems in my life - and done't tell me to create a new profile. At that point I'll kill firefox and end my donations to Mozilla.
