Previous versions of Firefox turned a link from blue to purple once it had been clicked. The new update does not seem to have this feature. I would like it back, or an option to turn it on again.

How the heck is there still no way to modify Firefox hotkeys without an extension? Firefox must have updated because I can no longer use Command-Option-Up/Down to navigate between servers on discord.com. Instead those keys are now reserved by Firefox for navigating tabs (which seems superlative, there are already MULTIPLE other hotkey combos for switching tabs.) Absolutely bonkers that there's no user-friendly way to modify these hotkeys.

I'm trying to enable autofill for payment methods but autofill is not working. I've checked the correct box under Preferences --> Settings --> Save and fill payment methods. I do not need the device to require sign-in to do this. But when I try to fill in from my saved payment methods, nothing fills in. I've restarted Firefox and my MacBook Pro, but it still doesn't autofill the payment methods. This has worked in the past, but it's not clear why it's not working now even if I have followed all the correct steps. Please help! Thanks

When log in to some sites using Safari, it a text to me security logon code is requested, it will show up automatically on the site for me to "click" and insert.

is there a setting for this?

MacBook Air 2024 Sequoia 15.5

I have been using Firefox for awhile now and something weird is happening. I can't close tabs by clicking on the 'x' on the tab. I also can't use the back arrow and the refresh button. I can right click and close tabs that way and the bookmark bar works. The problem seems confined to the top two bars. Thank you.

I have "Always ask you where to save files" checked in my preferences, yet Firefox saves downloads to my Downloads folder without asking. This was working in the past, it's only recently broken.

I'm using Firefox 140.0.2 on Mac (aarch64).

In preferences I have the box check for links to open in a new tab but since the latest update they are still opening in new windows. What is happening or what should I do to fix this?

What can I do about excessive memory usage by Firefox? I'm about ready to remove from my system. I get memory availability alerts from my very up to date Mac system only when Firefox is active. I've been with you for a LONG time so hate to leave but this is not a good situation.

The errors I get are kind of all over the place though. I've completely deleted and reinstalled Firefox, and removed all extensions too.

It will loop to the login screen over and over, or I get the message 'An error has happened, try again later'...

I used the browser console and didn't get anything that seemed usable. I use Strava nearly every day so I'm having to use Safari. And this issue is on all of the mac and Windows systems I use. 'Troubleshooting Mode' didn't work either.

My machine / firefox browser updated today

Suddenly - ALL of my bookmarks have dissapeared ?

All folders, all loose and all on the tool bar

ive tried to follow steps to recover but all are gone ?

The title sums it up. • Does anyone know why FFx , when opened following my MacBook Pro Restart, opens without any of my selected Tabs AND then provides no History of my last FFx session??? • Hours of Internet research, vanishes! It really p--- me off! • This has happened at least 4 or 5 times in the past year to year and a half and on both computers. And I do stay on top of my FFx updates. If a Notice appears on my screen, I usually install within 24 hours. • This last time (today) I had previously updated FFx a few hours earlier and then I needed to run a Restart of the computer.... • MBPro fires back up, I open FFx and nothing in the Tabs Header. GONE! Poof! • I go to Browsing History - no Restore Previous Session (by any other term) • Doesn't it seem logical? THAT fundamental function would be right there, top of the list?!?! • HERE IS THE KICKER: In FFx I opened the FFx "About Firefox" menu and noticed it says, amidst all the provided information, "Failed to check for updates." • BS! It was following the update that FFx Tabs vanished! How can it insert that statement? Was I suppose to do something other than click "OKAY". And then the new version begins when FFx is reopened. Right? • If this comes down to the older OS on the computer (10.13.6) I should not be receiving update notices from FFx. If so, a notice of, "Your Mac's OS is too old to run FireFox's latest version" would be what I should receive. So, as you can tell, I'm frustrated and baffled at the same time. Any thoughts? I would appreciate it. Thanks
