Summary - Firefox crashes repeatedly. yesterday, I decided to switch to Firefox after using Chrome for a while. it worked fine and I synced my data from Chrome. today, at some point I noticed Firefox is no longer open in my taskbar. I decided to reopen it - it crashed. since that moment it has never worked again. I tried launching it in safe mode (firefox.exe -safe-mode), didn't work. tried reinstalling it, didn't work. manually deleted the files from C:\Program Files and AppData, installed Firefox again, didn't work. reinstalled gpu drivers, didn't work. sfc /scannow-ed, you guessed it - still crashes. what else could I possibly try? please help.

Hello! I've been seeing some strange behavior on firefox launch or on new profile launch. There is a popup during startup, can't see it on the screen but I can see it in tray. Is this normal or no? I observed it on two different hp notebooks so far.

After update to 140.0.2, clicking on Firefox icon in the dock does nothing. The title bar says Firefox is active, but nothing shows on my screen. What changed? Did you reset something in my preferences?

I keep getting a message that Firefox is running but it’s not in my task manager.

I can’t uninstall it without closing it but I can’t close it while it’s running.

I've powered off and on and I've done everything I read online to do but keep going in circles.

When I try to launch firefox, it opens only on the taskbar for a split second and doesn't launch. I don't see the program appear at all on task manager. I've restarted my computer and reinstalled multiple times. This problem persist across multiple computers

Firefox refuses to open. What happens is, It'll open for like 1 frame and then close. This happened to Chrome last month too, which is actually why I installed Firefox. I have to uninstall it, then reinstall it from the website. If that doesn't work, I try the Microsoft Store. If that doesn't work either, I keep switching between them until it eventually opens. It breaks again when I turn off my computer. Thanks.
