I have added extensions from the Firefox store, an element remover extension, and there is no option to pin it to my toolbar when I click on the gear icon. I want all of my extensions to be added to the toolbar.

I recently reinstalled Windows on my computer, and after setting everything up again, I noticed that all of my Firefox bookmarks are missing.

I would like to know if it is possible to recover or restore my bookmarks. Before reinstalling Windows, I was using Firefox normally and had a large collection of saved bookmarks. Unfortunately, I can no longer find them after the reinstall.

Could you please let me know if there is any way to recover them, either from my Firefox account, a backup, or any other method?

Today I got on my laptop and opened Firefox like I do every day. The browser looked different. It was an ugly purple color. A window showed me information about 'Profiles'. I didn't want any 'Profiles', I just wanted my regular Firefox Browser. So I deleted the Profiles. This also ended up deleting all of my bookmarks and passwords!! It took the last two hours and working with AI to recover my most recent backup which was two years old. Firefox hasn't been backing up any of my data that I actually need, and it actively deleted the things I rely on. Your devs and designers really messed up on this one. I bet no one uses Profiles, but everyone uses passwords and bookmarks to some degree. Why would you build it like that?! Shame, Mozilla. This was a serious error on your part. Bad product design. Make it easier to back up the things we need. Get rid of this useless 'Profiles' function that I bet no one uses.

I have no idea what is happening. Whenever I try to use youtube on firefox the site just freezes. I can still scroll up and down, but nothing that wasn't already loaded loads, I can't click on anything, and nothing except scrolling does anything.

The reload, home, and even screenshot buttons don't work in these frozen youtube tabs. The only way to do anything is to open a new tab and close the frozen youtube one.

Youtube is completely unusable because of this.

I turned off every single addon, I restarted firefox, I restarted the entire computer, I tried in a private tab. It still freezes every time.

I don't have a VPN, I do not have the problem on any other website (even other media-players), and I don't have a clue what is happening.

I do have youtube premium.

Any help would be appreciated. I need to watch stuff for my studies but I just can't

How can I prevent firefox from DELETING all my bookmarks EVER AGAIN! FUCK!!!!! They did some kind of screwy update and reverted my bookmarks back by 6 months and I can't get them back. And yes, I saw all the backups they "stored" but they are not in there.

Hello! Is it possible to recover older open tabs from a broken device that had sync activated? For a while they appeared in the hamburger menu in the top right, but now they suddenly disappeared, and under the "connected devices" I cannot click the device or anything. It went broken 2-3 months ago. Best wishes!

I can't get my Firefox icon to go to my desktop and become active. I also cannot uninstall Mozilla - it just allows me to attempt to repair it. My icon also shows Firefox 2 for some reason.

My main Extension is 1Password which I rely on. I do have a few other extension and the same applies to them. The Extensions work fine and I can have multiple Firefox windows open with no problem, however if I click on a link in an email (often necessary) it opens a Firefox window as expected but my Extensions are not available on the toolbar and do not work. I can add them to the Toolbar but 1Password does not work in this window (opened from the link), whereas it works in any other Firefox window..

I realized today that my tab groups were all gone and I believe it is because I erased all of my search history about a week ago. Unfortunately I did not realize that clearing my search history would irrecoverably delete my tab groups, and I think it would not be intuitive for many other people either.

Ideally I would like to see a specific option to keep or erase tab groups when clearing search history but in the absence of that I think at least having a warning that you will lose your tab groups if you follow through would be very nice.

Anyone else having issues with facebook reels/videos not loading?

In my feed, most of them just show a black frame and if I click on them, the screen goes black also.

I was playing a game hat required dialogues and I accidentally clicked the "Stop site from making Dialogues" check box and i cant undo it, I've tried reloading the site but that didnt work, and that was the only suggestion i could find.
