Whenever I try to upload any sort of file, the file explorer pop up thing opens, and then freezes. This doesn't happen with any other application, just Firefox, and it happens across websites. Eventually the window freezes long enough that you get the 'close/wait to respond option', and then it closes. Firefox itself doesn't freeze, just the file picker. Nothing ever crashes/closes unexpectedly, and there's no crash reports in the about:crashes thing.
It's not super urgent because you can copy and paste most files but it is frustrating. Any help would be very appreciated.

Hello, I am trying to add extensions from addon.mozilla.org, and any one that I click "Add to Firefox" shows this error code:
"Installation aborted because the add-on appears to be corrupt."
A few months ago, I was able to run extensions no problem (For the ad blocker) until my Firefox application updated automatically and it no longer works. My Firefox continues to update automatically since then and I am not able to use any extensions unfortunately.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I've been having to use Edge in the meantime, but I would prefer to use Firefox.

The taskbar (the one with the Start menu) doesn't hide when watching videos in fullscreen mode. This happens on YouTube as well as on any other website. The problem disappears if I run the browser in Safe Mode. It's only Firefox that doesn't work — in Chrome the taskbar does disappear.

After Firefox automatically updated to version 156.0 (64-bit) on Windows 11, I can no longer change the browser interface language.
The browser UI is currently displayed in English. In Settings > Languages, I can select Chinese as the Browser Language, but the change is never applied.
What happens: - I select Chinese as the Browser Language. - Firefox asks to restart (or saves the setting). - After restarting Firefox, the entire interface is still in English. - Rebooting Windows does not help. - The setting appears to be ignored.
Before updating to Firefox 156, the browser language worked correctly.
Additional information: - Firefox version: 156.0 (64-bit) - Operating system: Windows 11 - The issue started immediately after the automatic update. - Website language settings work normally. - Only the browser UI language cannot be changed.
Has anyone else experienced this issue after updating to Firefox 156?

Я использую расширение для музыки, в котором есть настройка переключения музыки горячими клавишами, но вне браузера они не работают. Можно ли сделать так, чтобы они работали, когда браузер свернут? То есть расширить область их применения до глобального уровня.

I'm not sure if they're av1 encoded but I tried the same videos with helium browser and chromium and they do not have this issue. I have "Use hardware acceleration when available" turned on and I use a 7800x3d cpu, rtx 5080, 64gb of ram, and 2tb of storage on an nvme m.2 drive. If anyone can find a fix for this it would be greatly appreciated.

Warum in Englisch??? Ich lebe in Deutschland, habe mich in Deutschland in "Deutscher Sprache" angemeldet und erwarte dass Firefox dass nicht nur zur Kenntnis nimmt, sondern auch anwendet! Ich will nicht bei jedem Umblättern oder anklicken von Links jedes Mal wieder versuchen eine Deutsche Seite zu erlangen - das ist ätzend und leider auch technisch nicht sehr überzeugend! Auch auf dieser Seite sind die meißten Texte in Englisch -das ist einfach schlecht - wenn ich dem System als Sprache Deutsch angebe, erwarte ich von einem System im 21. Jahrhundert, dass er das nicht nur versteht sondern auch beibehält und auch bei der nächsten Anmeldung in dem Account noch weiß und nicht wieder erneut mit dem "Engisch-Zirkus" beginnt. Leider ist diese Programm gefühlt davon weiter entfernt als Berlin von NewYork!
