since firefox updated from 7 or 8 the uk virgin media player has stopped played video's it says platform not supported , does anyone know if its a Linux issue or flash aid i'm on ubuntu 10.10 virgin media player runs on the latest version of flash

I also see a message "Your platform is not supported" although nothing seems to indicate that something special is needed apart from the Flash plugin.
Google Chrome shows that same error message.

I can open the page with a Windows user agent, but not with one that has Linux in it, so you can try to spoof the user agent for that website.
