How to stop sync from chaing my home pages.

more options

When I sync my computer I don't want my home pages changed. On computer has a different home page and when I sync it remove my setting on both computers. When this happens I get a cannot connect message. One computer is set up with i-Google and the other has a different home page. I end up with no home page after syncing.

Chosen solution

Type about:config in the URL bar and hit Enter.
If you see the warning, you can confirm that you want to access that page.

Filter = services.sync.prefs.sync.browser.startup.homepage

Double-click that pref to toggle it to false
Then restart Firefox.

Do that on all the PC's you have connected to Sync.

Worked great. Now here is another question. I want to up-date to the newest version of Firefox, but I understand that it will now let me use RoboForm version 7. Is there a way to fix that issue?, or has it been fixed. Thanks in advance.

Thanks I guess I will update to the new FF. Hope it's as good as version three has been. Thanks again. "GOD BLESS AMERICA PLEASE"
