When I attempt to open Firefox, I am immediately directed to the crash reporter and Firefox does not open. I have attempted to open Firefox in safe mode by holding the shift button upon opening the application, but this still directs me to the crash reporter and Firefox does not open.

I deleted the Mozilla folder within %APPDATA%, uninstalled Firefox, and reinstalled with the latest .exe installation file, but I continue to experience the issue. I have been using Firefox on this computer for more than a year, and first experienced this issue today.

The latest Crash ID that was returned upon attempting to open Firefox is:

Crash ID: bp-f30a7d84-dc88-45e2-b02d-234de2161116

I would like to see if there are any other steps that I can try in Firefox to get this working.

Hi

Thank you for your question and for providing the crash ID.

I have looked into this and have seen that there is an open bug report relating to the way in which Firefox is working alongside Websense software that you may have installed on your machine.

This is currently being looked into and we hope to have a solution soon.
