Installed latest beta....updating from the prior version Font size in folder list has changed....Font in subject and correspondents remains unaltered

This change was immediate. No input from me. My preferred font sizes remain the same as used for the past several months in the beta

Troubleshooting steps do not 'fix' etc

Reboot and/or exit T'bird and restart shows no change

I just recently upgraded to the latest Thunderbird version and now the local folders I created that had thousands of old emails that I need for my business are all missing...gone...they folders now show as empty! Gone! When I do a global search the email snippets show up as if they are there, but when I click it on, says folder empty. I am trying to stay calm and not break down, but I need these back and I don't know what to do. Please help me find these and get them back. They were from 2008 to 2018. Thank you. I am on a Windows computer on Windows 11.

So I was looking at Event Viewer and I have noticed that Firefox Default Browser Agent shows error with EventID: 5, aKa Access Denied.

I tried to google a bit, but couldnt find anything useful, or at least for me.

Then I went to about:config in FF and I have noticed that even if I didnt personally made any edits, when I clicked show only modified preferences, it shows A LOT.

So it makes me to wonder what exactly is this error and why my config have so many modified preferences, even if I didnt modify any >.>

Hi Guys, I have just installed Linux Mint 22.1 on a laptop and I am using Thunderbird for Linux Mint as my email program. The version of Thunderbird I have is 128.11.1esr(64bit). I cannot update Thunderbird to the latest version because it says "Updates disabled by your system administrator" How do I overcome this problem? Thank you.

Recently I bought a Mac Mini and it won't allow me you sign in with Mozilla products (primarily Firefox). It defaults be to Safari. How do I get around their Safari requirement and install Firefox?

I have Sequoia 15.5 on a 2021 MacBook Pro and have always used FF as my browser. Now, I can't get it to do much more than open. Nothing new happened that I know about, except updates to "Malwarebytes" I have some computer knowledge but not a lot. TIA.

This behavior is beyond annoying. On the desktop version, it will install the update before the browser opens. It should work exactly the same way on all versions. Please get this fixed. I am very tired of being in the middle of browsing a couple of web pages, then the browser decides to close and update without warning.

the most recent update prevents from starting the program

I am repeatedly requested to restart windows in order to finish something previous when I try to proceed with the installation. restarting windows does not help.

How to fix this issue? I am in urgent need of legacy mails. Or can I transfer them to a running system of a second computer?

Initially, firefox denies my profile registered with version 129 (probably) because current version is 130 in this new computer. I succeed in turning back partly to 129 but probably without some files necessary for snap. The profile is OK but firefox works wrong. Updates are no longer possible and Ubuntu proposes to migrate towards version 24.04 LTS. Is either the good way or an other solution exists ? Thanks to best hint.
