All of a sudden my comcast.net email is no longer accessible through Thunderbird,it claims I'm not using the correct password, even though none of the settings have changed. I can still access my email through webmail, using the same password. What's happened? and how can it be corrected thank you

Depuis plusieurs semaine ce problème survient.

"Le certificat pour imap.gmail.com:993 ne provient pas d’une source sûre".

Ce problème, uniquement sur l'ordinateur avec windows 11. Sur le GSM pas de problèmes.

This problem only occurs on my computer running Windows 11. There are no problems on my mobile phone.

I've been trying to connect for over an hour and I always get the answer; " Connection to the server impossible. The configuration, username or password are probably incorrect. My access provider is “Orange” and I made the mistake of accepting “Unlimited Emails”, I have 650,000… I work on a MacBook Pro Apple M1 Pro 26.3.1 (a) and the Mail app is very saturated and Tchat Gpt advised me to use your “Thunderbird” app I changed my Orange access password about 4 hours ago. Please guide me towards making your application work properly.

Over the last week or so, selecting a link embedded within an incoming email on Thunderbird does not now ensure that the desired webpage will be opened in Safari and other browsers. Shutting down Thunderbird, intermittently enables the proper functional activity of opening the desired webpage. I've discussed this with Apple (iMac; Sequoia 15.7.5) and was unable to identify this as an Apple problem.

Pouvez-vous me dire ce qu'il faut faire pour me connecter. A savoir j'ai changé mon mot de passe mais celui-ci ne me permet toujours pas d'accéder à mes mails.

Hi, as of 14/4/26 my K9 (Samsung mobile) and Thunderbird (Mac Pro) no longer works with my bt internet account. Cannot receive or send emails. Have checked both in and outgoing server settings and all agree with bts advised settings. When I attempt to fetch in K9 I get error “network error readstringuntil():end of stream reached. Read:””while waiting for’’. When I attempt to send get message “unknown error unexpected end of stream. Contacted BT and they told me all my settings were good. I suspect something has changed at the BT server end. They did say they had relocated?? Any one else suffering this?

When I receive an email that includes a live link it does not work when I click on it. Instead I get a popup error message that says "Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item."

I can sometime manage to copy the link address and paste it into a browser but this is not always successful.

I get the error "connection to server pop-server.triad.rr.com was reset" when running Thunderbird and then I get no email.

Don't know if it is relevant but I did try VPN beta in Thunderbird some time before the above error happened.

Recently switched ISPs to a fiber internet company. After the switch, now whenever I try access my comcast email tunderbird gives me a message that my IP is temporarily blacklisted. I get two messages. One is a windows notification that says the blacklisted message, and then a popup message from tunderbird that it cannot log in. I have contacted my ISP to ask them what's up with the blacklist, but what's weird is that I can seem to access these accounts fine through Outlook, which would seem to indicate that there is some issue with tunderbird. I'd really rather use tunderbird than outlook. Can somebody help me with this?

The few articles I could find on this all suggest changing the IPv6 setting but I checked that and it is already set to what they suggest.

I tried deleting the account and recreating it in tunderbird, but it won't go through it says it can't log into the account.
