I have just got a new laptop and installed everything in relation to Firefox onto it. I have used the Nordpass extension for a couple of years and on the old laptop this is version 5.23.13 updated 16/10/24. On visiting the add-on and extension site today there is only a legacy version 4.33 updated 2y ago which clearly no longer works. Where has it gone. Clearly I am going to ask the same question of Nord, but I hope you can help.

Got this error message on recent update and now Firefox doesn't work at all. Platform Version '131.0.3' is not compatible with minversion >= 131.0.2 maxversion <= 131.0.2

I'm running Firefox browser 88.0 (64) bit, and have been trying since before Xmas to upgrade it to a newer version. It's installed on an older Dell laptop running Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (which I've also tried repeatedly to upgrade without success).

I've tried to upgrade both through the UI, but also tried using the command line in Terminal. Per advice in other threads, I've found the best mirror site and changed my settings to use that, but still no luck. Even the preliminary "sudo apt update" via Terminal fails; the first error tells me that the public key is not available. I assume that's the place to start, but don't know how to correct it.

I'm up against the deadline for updating my browser, and would very much appreciate any help you can provide. (Please note that I'm posting from a newer computer, so automatically generated info about my system won't apply. See the screenshots for that info).

Latest update reduced the size of tiles on my new tab page. they're too small now to read the letter or custom image. And only a few letters of the name of the site below the tile are visible. Not enough to know what the tile is for.

How do I return them to their normal size?

Hi friends.

As shown in the image, if I enable "Address Bar - (suggest) Browsing history" option at about:preferences#search page, bunch of subordinate pages are displayed, which is barely useful, in my opinion.

I want to hide them, but I want to keep the auto completion functioning. For instance: I want my Firefox to complete https://youtube.com/ with only typing y, but don't want to see those 'Firefox Suggestion' pages.

Is it possible to set it this way? Or I can't just have it both ways? Please let me know.

The UI font on Firefox UI appears to be corrupted. See screenshots attached.

The app was installed recently and not used much. When I launched it today the font appears like this. No other apps are affected.

I only have a handful of custom fonts and none overwrite any system fonts.

Ive been told that firefox does not support https://web.minidisc.wiki/ (Web minidic pro) and only google chrome does. I hate google chrome. how difficult would it be for firefox to support usb devices like a minidisc recorder player. I guess its down to drivers or some form of plug in? Could firefox be made to support my minidisc or is it too much of a security/software performance issue? Cheers Mark

However, I notice that you continuously cite the same left wing publications and it was disgusting during the last election cycle. Daily I saw you recommend The Atlantic, New Yorker, Vanity Fair, Washington Post, New York Times. The Guardian. I recently discovered a problem with an addon I wanted to report. The product page only has an email support link, which opens up MIcrosoft Mail. I prefer not to use it.

Is there any other way to get the developers email address?

I've noticed that whenever I press ⌥⇧Space (option-shift-spacebar) in Firefox Developer Edition, it causes the page to refresh.

This behaviour seems to be consistent across devices.

Is there a way to change/disable this behaviour? It is very inconvenient, as it often causes me to accidentally trigger a page refresh when I type an em dash (`—`) in a text input (opt-shift-dash, and then type a space character after it, I'm very likely to hit opt-shift-space by mistake 🙈).

Hello everyone. Earlier I wrote to you all telling you that Slashkey would not accept my U.S. dollar Visa. Someone must have talked to someone who talked to someone else and they must have talked to someone who had the solution because when I went back into FarmTown there was a full screen notice in RED CAPS that I was not to close my browser and that the charge had gone through. I'm sure they don't get many people who live in another country but have a credit card in their (U.S.) currency.
