When I log into my ubuntu account and start Firefox, a prompt along the bottom of the screen informs that that there was a problem with sync and I have to log in manually. I have FF 40 on Ubuntu Gnome with Ghostery installed and I suspect that Ghostery is the culprit. I've whitelisted everything I can think of and I'd rather log in every time than get rid of Ghostery. I'm also not sure if Ghostery is the problem. Has anyone else seen this behavior and found a solution?
