In the contacts menu there is no possibility to import contacts from File. I downloaded the APp vCardIn which could import vcard 3.0 standard contacts. But it doesnt work. For me it was not possible to see whats the reason.

Would be great if there would be any possibility to import contacts from file.

Hi kreativnix,

Sorry for the late reply. Do you still have this problem with the vCardin app? We are getting app updates regularly, so you might try uninstalling and reinstalling the app to see if a recent update has fixed it.

Thanks for using Firefox OS.

Regards, Michelle

Hi Michelle, I do have the same issue. vCardIn does not import the .msg files from my µSD card. There are no explanations in the App what to do or what the issue could be. How much. What are the file formats the app can read? I'm using the the Geegphone Peak GP-201 (fx). I leke the phone very much but I need to import my contacts as I have more than 6000 persons in my address book. Great thanks BR Votec

I used vCardin and it worked just fine. Make sure you export your contacts in vCard format. The file format has to be .vcf. Put the .vcf file on your SD card, start vCardin. It will check the card for the .vcf file and import the contacts. Once it's done, the contacts should show up in the Contacts app. I've done that several times and it worked each time.

Version 1.1 lets you import contacts directly from inside the Contacts app.
