A couple of different emails always end up in trash.

A couple of different emails always end up in trash despite having a filter. I deleted all my filters and all incoming emails ended up in my inbox with the exception of these two. So filters are not the problem.

Just a suggestion: check your online account; the message may already be in the trash before thunderbird receives it. I have a Gmail account and Gmail sometimes puts stuff in trash and I then have to make a filter online. This may not be your issue, but it's a possibility
