My Thunderbird connected to my gmail is running slow. Thunderbird is not running slow on my other (non-gmail) account. It takes 10-15 seconds for an e-mail (from gmail) to be deleted or moved within Thunderbird. I have tried "compacting folders" and "repairing folders" and that does not help. Please help!

So, no one here knows how Thunderbird and gmail work together, or don't work together well? That's really disappointing.

Slow is simply not normal, and might not have anything to do specifically with gmail.

Therefore, please spin through https://wiki.mozilla.org/Thunderbird:Testing:Memory_Usage_Problems
