Within the last couple of days, everytime I use Firefox it asks to update itself. I have to allow it but there must be a minor glitch. I am using 101.0.1 on 64 bit Windows 10. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

At present it's correct because 102.0 is released but, apart from that, I can't say. Perhaps a new profile would help. https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/102.0/releasenotes/
