I was informed about opensubtitles being hacked. However, since Monitor says "Results for: ... @sky.com

This email did not appear in the Open Subtitles breach. No other breaches found from a basic search".

Did Firefox Monitor send you a personal alert? Usually Firefox Monitor would only send alerts for addresses you signed up to monitor. Is it possible that you have another email address registered that forwards to your main address?

Thank you for your help.

I was first notified by the haveibeenpwned site, then by Firefox. There is an option to delve further with Firefox and when I did, got the message "This email did not appear in the Open Subtitles breach. No other breaches".

I just wondered why, if my email did not appear in the breach, how does Firefox know I have registered with opensubtitles.
