Homepage does not load on startup after update to Firefox 77
Ever since Firefox automatically updated to version 77, I see a blank page on startup instead of it loading up my homepage. I have to hit the homepage button to load it up now. I had not changed any preferences, so it wasn't caused by anything I did.
FYI, I noticed that if I open a second Firefox window, it does load the homepage up automatically.
Based on past questions about similar issue, I checked to make sure about:config browser.startup.page was set to 1, and it was.

Follow the step :
- Restart your computer. Sometimes problems can be fixed by simply restarting your computer and then starting Firefox again.
- Clear your cookies and cache. ...
- Restart Firefox in Safe Mode. ...
- Reinstall Firefox. ...
- Refresh Firefox. ...
- Create a new Firefox profile.

There is also this pref: browser.startup.blankWindow
I had already tried restarting computer and toggling browser.startup.blankWindow before, but that did not work.
I went down Arman Khan's list sequentially and got to step#4 before it solved the problem-- so reinstalling Firefox was my solution. Thank you!
