I can't restore my old tabs because firefox has grayed out the box to select that option. How can I fix this?
Under options->general->startup, the "restore previous session option is grayed out so I can't select it. Won't let me upload an image so hopefully that's enough detail

Would you please check these settings :
Options => Privacy & Security => under "History" => choose "Use custom settings for history" and make sure that both "Always use private browsing mode" and "Clear history when Firefox closes" are unchecked.
