how to fix firefox constantly not responding and freezing for small lapse of timee
Sometimes when im doing everyday stuff like using facebook or just watching videos on youtube Firefox starts to constantly freeze and show as "(not responding)" it does it for one second or less before going back to normal just to do it again a few seconds later this also is accompanied by slow typing. I can just avoid it by closing and opening firefox agai but it would better if I could just fix it.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
- switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Appearance
- do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window
