Every time I try and downloade a video file regardless of the type, it always comes up as an HTML file, which can't be opened with anything else other than Firefox. Switching to "All Files" when saving the video doesn't help either. Please tell me how I can fix this. Thank you

I should start by saying that sites don't always appreciate users downloading their videos and they can make it difficult to save videos without an add-on.

So the built-in feature is integrated into the right-click context menu. When you right-click a video in Firefox's built-in video player, you may have an option to "Save Video As". If this is grayed out or if the site preempts Firefox's usual right-click context menu, then it's more complicated.

What method of saving are you trying to use?
