Using a MacPro, Verizon modem. Safari works fine. FF worked fine but suddenly stopped connecting to websites. I've tried all of your suggested interventions including removing and re-downloading FF w/o success. What to do next. Is it possible to speak with a tech?

Try to disable IPv6 (check for other possible causes as well).
